Shopping Billboard

Without highway signage Qualicum Beach is being driven past by tourists.

One of the out comes from the shopping destination meeting on May 22nd was the desire to attract travellers on Hwy 19 to our town. After contacting Coast Outdoors and getting a special chamber rate, we asked businesses in town to pitch in on the cost of the 4 month digital billboard. We were blown away with the response, in the first day we got 16 participants to share in the $5019 (taxes in) cost. We are now looking for at least 4 more sponsors to bring the cost down to $250 per business.

UPDATE!! Blain Sepos from Parksville Qualicum Beach Tourism just kicked in $1000 dollars. We are now officially at 20 participants. Stretch goals anyone? Can we get 25?
