Our town has been raising the Pride flag for 5 years\, so we wanted to celebrate with a community-led public flag raising ceremony. \n\n\n\nThis event is for everyone and meant to celebrate that our town welcomes and celebrates all diversity. We are stronger together. If you can make it\, please come join us on Monday\, June 1st at 10 am in front of Town Hall. \n\n\n\nWe will be honouring trans elder Mardi Pieronek. Mayor Westbroek and other dignitaries have kindly offered to join us and share greetings and thoughts. Please come celebrate inclusion and 2SLGBTQIA+ Pride with community members from all over. All who come in kindness are welcome. This is an all ages event meant to help all generations\, families and communities feel more welcome\, safe and included in our town. Mark your calendars. See you there. \n\n\n\n*** Please note: this is not an official Town of Qualicum Beach event but rather organized by community volunteers to coincide with when the Town regularly raises the Pride flag on June 1st.

We regularly serve between 250 – 350 breakfasts. This number\, combined with the neighbours who just want to check out the market and enjoy a good cup of coffee\, makes for a pretty impressive crowd for our small community. \n\n\n\nEach month\, a different community service group provides a bargain\, freshly cooked breakfast as a fundraiser.
