About Us

Qualicum Beach Animal Hospital is a privately-owned, family-run veterinary hospital located in the heart of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. The practice was purchased in 2015 by Dr. Ashley Bernauer, and has since grown from a tiny clinic into a full service veterinary hospital. Currently we have 4 veterinarians, and a big happy family of support staff. In the fall of 2019, we moved to our new facility on Beach Rd.

We are excited to be able to offer a growing number of services to our clients and patients, including various orthopedic surgeries, acupuncture, chiropractic treatments, and laser therapy - just to name a few. We also carry a growing selection of nutritional supplements, as well as both veterinary and special holistic diet options for pets.
